Chris Wright has over 30 years of experience as a trainer and workshop leader. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with a private practice in the Washington, D.C. area. He offers both office sessions and telephone counseling.

Chris has traveled extensively around the country giving seminars and workshops for the public as well as trainings for corporations. He teaches the latest tools, skills and understandings for personal growth and conscious relationships.
In 1987, Chris founded The Human Relations Institute in Houston, Texas. There he developed the tools that he teaches nationally in his conscious couples programs.

In 1995, Chris became the Director of the PAIRS Foundation -- an international organization training psychotherapists to teach the PAIRS relationship skills programs. Recognizing the need for safer tools and processes, Chris moved on to develop THE COUPLES COURSE® incorporating the tools that he had developed at the Human Relations Institute in Houston.

Chris also currently leads organizational trainings with corporations around the country on using self-awareness and relationship skills for getting along in the work place. Based on the Enneagram personality system, this simple framework focuses on increasing productivity, stress management, time management, and communication skills.

Chris has two Masters degrees -- in psychology from Antioch University and information science from the University of Arizona. He was born on July 15, 1949 in Washington, D.C.
